THE COMPLETE PRACTICE Inspired by Adler

You do not need to solve yourself before you can join your life.

Useful Acts places seven considered questions around the calendar you already have. When avoidance, approval, or perfectionism arrives, one concrete act can still move toward work, people, and the life in front of you.

No card · Google or email · $8 monthly or $60 annually afterward

THE LIVING DAY

Questions hold the practice. Calendar events stay in their place.

THE MOVE UNDER THE MOOD / 02

A day for people tired of waiting to become someone else.

Maybe the work becomes elaborate so nobody can question it. A direct sentence waits until everyone’s reaction feels manageable. Discouragement turns into withdrawal, then looks like proof that you never belonged.

Useful Acts does not diagnose those moves or ask you to fix a personality. It helps you notice sooner, separate what is yours from what is not, and choose one useful act while the feeling is still present.

NOTICE · CHOOSE · JOIN

The feeling can stay.
The act can still begin.

“I no longer need to solve myself before I can join my life.”

THE PRACTICE / 03

Questions become acts.
Events remain facts.

The authored structure holds the psychology. Your calendar supplies the reality. Your own act joins the two without turning either into a score.

01 / ARRIVE

Meet an authored day.

The first sign-in opens to a considered rhythm, not a blank setup project. Change the times, names, repetition, or moments whenever life asks for it.

02 / NOTICE

Catch the move sooner.

Waiting for readiness. Managing a reaction. Adding polish nobody needs. Keeping a tally. Pulling away. Each has a small door back into participation.

03 / JOIN

Name one useful act.

Choose an authored way in or write the plain next act. Doing one joins the moment. Midnight clears the marks; no backlog or streak remains.

AFTER FOURTEEN DAYS / 04

Not “my life is fixed.”
“I respond differently now.”

A credible change in how a day is met, not a claim that a person has been repaired.

01

I notice sooner.

Avoidance, approval-seeking, perfectionism, resentment, or withdrawal becomes visible while something can still be done.

02

I move before confidence.

There is lived evidence that uncertainty, discouragement, or embarrassment does not have to decide the first act.

03

I find the useful next act.

Overwhelm can become one concrete contribution rather than a demand to repair the whole situation.

04

I carry less of their reaction.

An ask, offer, boundary, or explanation can be yours. The response can remain with the person who has it.

05

I spend less energy proving.

Work can become useful enough to share before it becomes an argument for worth.

06

I participate more often.

The days are connected to the wanted life because joining no longer waits for a solved self.

YOUR CALENDAR, IN ITS PLACE / 05

The appointment is not the moment.

Google Calendar events appear inside the authored moment they happen within. Useful Acts reads them as context: never a checklist, never a grade, never the shape of the practice itself.

  • Read-only Google access
  • Event details fetched only when the visible week needs them
  • No event titles or descriptions stored by Useful Acts
  • No calendar content in analytics, ads, or AI

WHY ADLER / 06

A different idea of change.

Adlerian psychology asks what a feeling or behavior is doing, separates one person’s task from another’s, and places courage in participation rather than self-perfection. Useful Acts translates those ideas into ordinary moments without pretending to be therapy.

“The important thing is not what one is born with, but what use one makes of that equipment.”Alfred Adler

QUESTIONS / 08

Before the first day.

Plain answers, before anything is asked of you.

Is this therapy?

No. Useful Acts is a daily reflective practice informed by Adlerian ideas. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a mental-health professional.

What if I miss days?

Nothing accumulates. The authored rhythm returns without an overdue list, a streak loss, or a request to repair the past.

Can I change the questions and times?

Yes. Change times, names, repetition, and visibility, or borrow a different question from the authored library. Your own useful act remains yours to name.

What happens when the trial ends?

New daily use pauses until membership. Settings, billing, export, deletion, and existing reflections remain available.

ACT FIRST. COURAGE CATCHES UP.

The next useful act is allowed to be small.
